Born October 6, in Baltimore, Maryland. Rob knew at a very young age that he wanted to play the guitar. At about the age of twelve, he began to play with a group formed by his father, Robert Reason Sr. "The Black Notes". He played in this group for many years, until he took an interest in jazz.

He always believed that any and every performance should be interesting, exciting, and entertaining. He believed that the musicians should be prompt, well attired, sharp and professional at all times. This way of thinking has made him a favorite of those for whom he has performed. A gifted guitarist, Rob continues to please his audiences with the hard driving, first class shows he has been known for.

He has studied intensely with jazz great Mark Whitfield and also at the prestigious Peabody Institute

He went on to record his first CD "Can You Come Over".

A Peabody Scholar, he continues to work hard and perform with other artist and is in the final stages of another CD, and is also the guitarist for jazz vocalist Dyra Wolf.
